We want you to keep the money you've earned so we've created an affordable subscription service and have the lowest commissions industry-wide. We don't just get you the gig, either. We believe in the transformative power of guidance and support so we'll make sure you're prepared for set too, making life easier for both you and your production company.

Te Agency is your go-to for authentic diversity on screen. We represent qualified, reliable talent including certified Reo speakers. We prepare our talent for life on set to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible for you and your team.

Alternatively, we offer a combined coordination and acquisition service—our Kit Hire model—where we organise everything for you based on your budget, talent needs, timeframe, and any additional specifics. We ensure talent receives their full pay by charging productions a kit fee.

Teone Kahu (Te Pakakohi, Ngai Tahu, Ngāti Kahu)

CEO

Teone started in film and TV from the ground up, working in everything from acting and stunts to production which gave him a holistic view of the production process and highlighted the challenges and gaps faced by background talent. Teone's journey, filled with its own set of struggles and successes, inspired him to create Te Agency, a platform dedicated to nurturing and empowering talent from all walks of life.

Hattie has worked her whole career in Production and is constantly working to change the culture of the industry for the better. She specialises in organisation, logistics, and taking care of people. As Chief Operations Officer for Te Agency, she's helping to turn the vision into a reality.
